In late 2010 SMOJS decided to open training courses up to  Surety Recovery and Bail Bondsman after numerous incidents across the state of Missouri resulted in agents being sued, arrested and charged with crimes. 

 Some agents acted on their own without regard to laws, rules & regulations, and others were improperly trained, or had no training at all.   

Training is done from a law enforcement stand point, agents learn the proper way to legally and safely make an apprehension and place someone into custody.   Teams have came from serveral states to train at our facility leaving with advanced skills and professionalism.  The "bounty hunter/cowboy" days are a thing of the past. 

 2012 Training Classes:

Basic Training: Missouri 24 Hour Basic Training for Surety Recovery and Bail Bond agents.   This class is requried by the state of Missouri before you can apply for your bail bond/surety recovery license.

Surety Recovery 1:  (MISSOURI CE TRAINING) This class is designed to teach you basic skills for use of force.  In this class you will work with our electronic simulator on shoot and don't shoot scenarios.

Surety Recovery 2:  (MISSOURI CE TRAINING) This is an advanced class for someone that is state licensed and has been working as a recovery agent.

Surety Recovery Tool Set: This two day course will certifiy you on tools of the trade.  You will leave certified on Taser, OC Spray, and Baton.  Certification are valid for two years.

Fugitive Recovery Agent Tactical Unit Training: This 3 day school is hands on and not for the weak.  Learn how to work the streets and survive.
