If you or someone you know is in custody or has a warrant here are the steps:
-
Beware of companies that charge less than state standard of 10 to 20% on bail bonds...our office receives calls weekly from people that need rebounded due to being scammed and re-arrested by these companies. Often times these companies are in business for the"thrill of being a bounty hunter", and prey on people in jail needing help. Most of these companies will not have a local office building and will want to meet you at the jail.
-
We will need to know their name, and what jail they are in custody in.
-
The bondman will communicate with the jail and find out all information needed to get them released.
-
The person in jail will need a co-signer, the co-signer is responsible to make sure they attend required court dates and have knowledge where they are at. If the person "skips bail" the co-signer will be responsible for the full bond amount.
-
The person will need an attorney to assist them in legal help on their charge.
-
We will assist the person in remembering all of their court dates, and will help them if they miss a court date by going to court with them to remain on their bond. Often time people are afraid when they miss court and end up making their problems worse, we will help them get back on track if this becomes an issue.
